Driver Requirements

Metro Transport Services, LLC is committed to safety, professionalism, and compliance. Qualified drivers who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply and become part of a safety-focused, professional transportation team.

To maintain our high standards, driver applicants must meet the following requirements.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Valid Class A CDL required (Hazardous Materials Endorsement preferred)

  • Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (medical waiver accepted if applicable)

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Minimum of 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last four years

  • Low CSA score

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

  • No careless driving or alcohol-related moving violations or accidents within the past five years

  • Subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and random drug and alcohol testing through the Metro Transport Services drug and alcohol program
